Honda Timing Belt
It may be irritating to keep changing your engine's timing belt regularly at
specific intervals, but keeping this quirky little accessory in good condition
keeps you and your Honda safe and hassle-free.
Timing belts require regular checking and replacement. Take good care of it,
you won't be sorry you did.
Timing belts work generally under severe conditions. They wear out as a result
of miles and time of running, that's why they need to be replaced at regular intervals.
Typically buried under drive components and metal brackets, it is hard to inspect
and easy to ignore. But letting it go bad is a very risky and dangerous thing
to do.
Your Honda timing belt's main job is to keep your vehicle's engine running in
time mechanically. It keeps the crankshaft to camshaft synchronization in check.
For every turn that the camshaft does, the crankshaft will do a couple of turns.
This one-to-two turning operation keeps the valve opening and closing at the precision-perfect
intervals. Without your timing belt, the valves on your engine won't open and
close at the appropriate times. The result? Decrease in power, inefficient running,
valve clatter, and a whole lot more of pesky situations that is guaranteed to
cause great inconvenience. Your car may even stop running completely and without
warning.
Checking and replacing worn-out timing belts regularly may be irritating, but
doing it saves you from a lot of difficulty in the long run. So replace your worn-out
timing belts. The Honda timing belt is available for you right here!
Difference between CFEclipse and CF Extensions
This
post is in two parts as I realised it's probably not good to bombard
you with one longgggg post. The second part (which is the reason this
post even exists) is about a new zip file that I have put together so
you can download CFEclipse and Adobe CF Extensions in one go. This post
first off covers the difference between them so you know what you are
getting and why you want it;
Incase you don't know the CF Extensions are very different to the CFEclipse plugin for Eclipse but both are essential for your CF development environment.
The Adobe CF Extensions is essentially an updated version of the old RDS functionality found in the old CFStudio and Homesite 5+ but also includes a host of new code generation features to make development quicker:
- Eclipse RDS Support plug-in, which lets you access files and data sources on a ColdFusion server.
- ColdFusion/Flex Application wizard, which lets you create master and detail pages in an application to create, read, update, and delete records in a database.
- ColdFusion/Ajax Application wizard, which lets you create master and detail pages that use Ajax elements in an application to create, read, update, and delete records in a database.
- RDS CRUD wizard, which lets you dynamically create a ColdFusion component (CFC) based on a table that is registered in the ColdFusion Administrator on a ColdFusion server
- ActionScript to CFC wizard, which lets you create a CFC based on an ActionScript class file.
- CFC to ActionScript wizard, which lets you create an ActionScript file based on a CFC Value Object
- Services Browser, which lets you browse CFCs, manage a list of web services, and generate the CFML code to invoke a web service.
- Log Viewer, it works like the Unix tail function (thanks, hit tip to Ray)
CFEclipse is your ColdFusion IDE for writing your CF markup, it supports
- Wizard's for common tasks such as creating a CFC
- Code Insight
- Code Folding
- Task List
- Tag Completion
- Syntax Highlighting
- CFComponent, a collapsable tree format of methods and properties in your CFC's
- Methods View, an overview of the methods in your current CFC
- Dictionary, get quick access and look-up features to CF[8|7|6|5], Railo, and BlueDragon[7|6] documentation
- Snippets, create pre-defined code blocks which can be accessed via key triggers
- CFUnit for unit testing you CFC'c without leaving your development IDE
- Frameworks Explorer to access and view your xml configurations files
Really you need both together for the complete dev environment. In my next post I have put together both downloads into one zip file to make setting yourself up even easier.

Honda AC Compressor
The AC compressor is a belt-driven pump that serves as the bridge that connects
and regulates the transfer of refrigerant gas from the low pressure to the high
pressure sides of your air conditioning system. Partitioned to handle the two
corresponding low pressure and high sides, it takes care of circulating gas throughout
the entire air conditioning system.
The process begins at the low pressure side, where the AC compressor's intake
draws in warm air and refrigerant gas from the outlet of the evaporator (or the
accumulator). Once inside, the refrigerant gas is then compressed. This makes
transfer to the high pressure side easy, where the refrigerant gas is discharged.
The refrigerant gas is then pumped to the condenser, where cooling will eventually
take place. Being a pump, the AC compressor keeps this process going. It works
at a regular, steady pace to encourage the movement and circulation of refrigerant
gas - delivering cool air to your Honda's cabin, and drawing warm air back into
the air conditioning system to be cooled once again.
Complications or damage to your Honda's AC compressor will cause your air conditioning
system to fail. Warm air will not be drawn into its suction side, and compressed
air will not be available for the condensers to convert into cool air. When looking
out for the continued effectiveness of your Honda's air conditioning, proper care
and maintenance methods must be exercised. In the event of an AC compressor failure,
we provide you with the confidence to replace it immediately. We carry top-quality
AC compressor parts that will drive your Honda's air conditioning with continued
success. And we sell them at the best prices, guaranteed!
